Did your boat have any evidence of rear seating or a second front seat? I think it's also interesting the the Delmar's didn't use a motor splash well- I wonder if water ever splashed back up into the boat? The Club Mariner used a bracket to position the motor about 6 inches behind the transom.

I had a Delmar for awhile. I was going to turn it into a two passenger V6 stern drive coupe...cushioned lounge over the engine. I never got to it and sold it as original. Wish I still had it....would have made an interesting resto-mod.

No evidence of a rear seat. No splash well. No remains of a second seat but it seems to me there would have been one.
