If you are in the area next Saturday stop by for a cold one. Better yet if you got an old boat bring it.

Thanks,
Terry

The weather forecast for Saturday looks like it should be a perfect day to hang out at Freddies.

Hey All,

Blackhawks and guests enjoyed a fine day on Pistakee Lake last week and we had a good turnout of Classic Boats at Famous Freddies. Yeah it was hot but there is not a better place to be than out on the water on in July.

Best Fiberglass was awarded to a beautiful Late Classic.

1983 26’ Chris Craft Scorpion ‘Dena II’.

Dave who is a bona fide gear head built the GM’s himself and believes they put out around 1100 HP each.

This very nice Century was my choice but unfortunately did not place.

Our friend Chuck made the haul up from St Louis again and showed his cool Cutter.

Thanks,
Terry

All nice boats! Maybe hard to compete against 2,200hp in just a 26 foot long boat... that is serious wow factor. Nice weather. Better than thunderstorms and tornado warning with downpours.... always fun visiting with other boating enthusiasts no matter what weather you get.

We have been having great weather here in Chicago. Hope to get Mama Mia! back in the water this weekend and cruise the lower Fox River . I sent a connection request to you.

Best Outboard went to our friend Pete and his homebuilt Scooter with an awesome Merc 800.

2nd place outboard went to this 1956 Ole Lind and 58 Mark 58S

Thanks,
Terry

Sailor58---- I agree. Probably 1100hp combined. 550hp each.
