I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier during the discussion of boat shows. There is a photographer, Robert Miracle who attends many ACBS boat shows, typically in the southeast US.

You can see his photos at miraclephotography.smugmug.com

Or just go to smugmug and type in antique boats.

It's a steam engine and I believe the owner built the entire sytem. I recall him saying that on the first try it didn't build up enough steam so he had to take all the pipes apart and do it over. He's really a remarkable man and a joy to spend time with.
When he toots the steam horn it's really amazing.

I'll play along! I have some from the Okanagan ACBS. It was our first "show" which really wasn't a show, it was more of an info session to see if anyone was still interested. Turns out, there was lots of interest. So much so that this year, the little town of Sicamous has cleared out there marina for us during their Sicamous days. Very excited about this.

Anyway, enough babble.

This is my '61 CC Ski Boat.

Some amazing boats that attended the fun day! Paul Harrison's Garwood sedan is one of two left and has some of the prettiest lines a boat can have. I see Chris's Sea-Sonic (do a google search for his boat shop, it is fantastic). We make the haul from Seattle to Sandpoint, ID each year for the ACBS show there. Looks like we may have to pull a little further North for your event!
