Excellent project!!!!!!!! Of course I'm a little partial to wood boats. The pointy bow should give it away but I don't remember my cruisers that well. Someone more knowledgeable will pipe in.

Well, I know of about 20 makes of boats that it ISN'T. I'd say that it is from the late 1940's...1947, 48. It's most likely a boat that is local to your area...not a nation-wide manufacturer. A few more photos would help...full side view, transom, interior, engines, etc.

BCBOATER,

Have you thoroughly looked over the hull for clues to the builder?
(An ID/data plaque could be mounted anywhere.)

Fwiw, I would be pleased if it were mine & turned out to be an "individual build", as they are often superior in quality to a big builder's products.

Best wishes, satx

Looks a bit like a Higgins. There is a 27' here and has similar lines. Nice boat!

Maybe an older Viking? Almost bought a used one in South Fla in the early 80s. Beautiful wood interior and twin Crusaders.

She has some of the old Christ Craft look for example the small windows between the bow and deck. But I would almost have to say look into Cruisers Inc. archives. I am no expert but looks familiar to me.
