I'm sure this is a stupid question that has been answered before but I couldn't find it with a search.
Could someone explain exactly how to install bearing buddies? I have a 1960 single axle Gator trailer.

Thanks
Verne :)

also, does anyone know if they come in the right size for the hubs on that trailer?

Just measure the lip on or for the dust cap. Thats the size you want. To install, tap around the outside until seated straight. Then a hunk 2x4 up against it, and slam it home. Never "pack" the bearing buddy, as you will blow out the rear seal. They are meant for a few pumps grease, just enough to pressurize the hub to keep out water intrusion. They are NOT meant for greasing. Thats already on the bearing when packed and installed in the hub. Most popular size is around 1 7/8th.
Hope this helps.

Thanks. I just hope they make ones with the right size for my old hubs.
