Was wondering if anyone has a pic of their winch stand on a gator with a pipe tongue. Mine is crap and I'd like to modify or replace it. Any ideas?

Here you go Jim. This is a 1956 Gator model 214. I also have a 1960 Gator too, but since this is the round tubular style, I chose to restore this one first. Before and after. I have plenty of pics of the restoration if you'd like.

Mines a 1958 Round tube with the same stand, its weak but still stron enough to pull the boat on from the ground if I need to... I think if the parts are not bent it holds up well. but I could see if they were damaged it would not hold up to the pressue on it.

Thanks for the pic,Eduardo. Mine's a 63 model 214(according to the title) I think my stand was just like yours in a former life ,but as you can see, someone added a second story to it and it was too much pressure. Plus by looking at yours, mine is missing an X brace. I think that's why mine bent, stashm. BTW, Sweet looking G, Eduardo!! I bet she will FLY!! I thought about trying to fab up a solid side panel type like is on the square tongue models to be able to put the Gator decals on the sides of it. I think I can use muffler clamps to secure it to the round tongue. Just bouncing ideas around now. This will be a fall/winter project. jim
