TOPIC: Michigan Boat Trailer help

Michigan Boat Trailer help 14 years 7 months ago #3629

I have an old trailer made by Michigan Boat Trailer in Benton Harbor, MI. I found a small photo here in the library that references a hydraulic raising and lowering feature. I would like to try to restore this feature, but am missing all of the mechanism. Has anybody out there dealt with such an animal. Any help, advice or photos would be appreciated.

There are a couple of owners of Michigan Lo-Loaders here, hopefully they will see this message.

Here's a thread with photos from the archive:

Your trailer looks like a DB-16, the same model I had under my 1958 Shell Lake Rocket that I sold a few years ago. Awesome trailer. Here's the brochure page. Good luck with the restoration. I may have more information somewhere. I'll keep looking.
