Hello,
I have a 1962 Glasspar Seafair Sedan that I restored about 20 years ago. I am considering replacing the old 1959 steel trailer and getting a new (or fairly recent) EZ Loader roller trailer, or similar. Trailer has to be right around 19.5' long in order to fit in my garage.
Does anyone have a model number that works well with a sedan?

Thanks,
Brad

Hello BG,

A gentlemen on this site that goes by Terrydi is a Seafair owner and appears to use a more modern trailer. Hoping he can offer you helpful advice.

As you likely understand, original trailers are of interest to classic boat owners. Who manufactured the 1959 steel trailer?

I restored my 1971 Holsclaw trailer and have kept it paired with its original boat.

Hey BG,

Welcome and please share some pictures of your Sedan.

My 59 still sports the original Moody trailer. Made in Maben MS and used with many Glasspars out of the Nashville plant.

A friend had his Sedan on this EZ Loader.

A folding tongue can be added so it will fit in your garage.

Thanks,
Terry

Hi,
My trailer is a 1959 American. It was articulated with two hitch balls, in order to launch at flat boat ramps. But I got rid of the second ball and arms, and welded it up. I also did some additional steel work to it and upgraded some of the rollers.. It is definitely not original.

Now it needs new fenders, sandblasting and recoating. I'm not sure that I have that in me! The attached photo is pre-modification.

Hello Brad,

Your Sedan looks really clean.

Gotta love those 4 strokes.

Curious what her s/n is and plant of manufacture.

Interesting to see a 62 without the raised non-skid surface on forward deck.

Thanks,
Terry
