TOPIC: Tee Nee Trailer ID and Bunk Question

Tee Nee Trailer ID and Bunk Question 5 years 3 months ago #140745

Hi all - I picked up a Tee Nee trailer and have a couple of questions about it.

First, does anyone know what model it might be? I'm in Ontario so assume that it would have originally had a Canasco label on it but that has come off (seems to be the peel-and-stick version rather than the metal one).

Second, the wooden bunks were gone when I bought it so can someone tell me (or show photos of) how Tee Nee mounted the bunks onto the brackets? Did the bolt just get sunk into the face of the bunk or was there another piece of metal that attached to the wood and that was in turn mounted to the brackets?

Thanks very much!

You have an OB-50A ( A designating A-frame, as opposed to t frame). My educated guess would be 1958. It would have had an adhesive foil label, as in the picture. It may have had bunks or rollers, but I believe they mounted in a similar fashion, fairly easy to fabricate if you can't find originals. Also, you have 12" wheels and 8" fenders, assume at one point, someone put the larger wheels on. You could upgrade to the teardrop fenders to match the 12" wheels
hope this helps
Cheers Bill
