I have decided to replace my 50+ year old trailer with a new one. The trailer that I have has an 1100 LB rating ( 50 years ago ). That is about what my Thompson Sea Lancer and the 115 hp Merc weigh without factoring in the 2 12 gallon gas tanks, battery and all the other gear on board.
My question is does anyone know of a trailer brand that has a 2000# model with rollers to support the keel and bunks in the back to support the transom. All of the new ones I have looked at have that big wishbone shape with nothing up front to support the keel. I am sure I could get a custom one built, but I would rather not spend as much for the trailer as I did for the boat!
Thanks,
Bill

Greg,
I could be interested. My Thompson measures about 15 1/2 ft from the transom to the bow eye. I would think that your trailer might be heavy enough considering the weight of a normal tri-hull. If you could post a picture we can go from there.

Sounds good. I am assuming it is the red Crestliner. Is there a roller on the cross bar closest to the front? If you could get an approximate measurement from the tail end of the trailer to the winch it will help. I need about 15 1/2 ft.
