TOPIC: Back yard Glasspar!!!

Here is my new project its a 1972 glasspar citation 175 with a merc 120 I/O. This boat was sitting on the side of this guys house full of trash. Me and a friend of mine asked him about it and he told me that he put car seats in it and drilled thru the hull back in 06 and never looked at it again. he said you can have it if you dump the load of trash.... well off to the dump I went. the motor has a new carb, starter and the upper gear case was replaced along with the prop. I got the boat fired up the next day with a little sanding on the connections. In the last few days I have stripped her of all chrome, gas tank windshield and trim, ready to bring her back to life. thanks for looking

Thanks Neil. I have not owned any 120 yet but I remember when I was growing up my grandmother had a little tahiti tri hull with a 4 banger and it was allot of fun. I pulled the tank out and its only a 10 gallon so im guessing they are pretty good on gas!

Thats funny because the one o/b that I did own (Wizard marlin) had a rude 75 but like you I sold it. Im a i/o kinda guy lol.

I love the dash but its in need of replacement badly!
