TOPIC: Almost ready for the water

Almost ready for the water 13 years 4 months ago #41703

I've had the boat for just over six years, and it's been in the water three times. Twice the first year, and once last year. It's just an old (1974) Rinkerbuilt 15' tri-hull with a 1981? Merc 18 horse on it. When we took it out last year we noticed some softness in the floor, so I just got done grafting in a sheet of 3/4" plywood. Nice how these small boats are just the right size for a single sheet to do the whole deck!
Tomorrow I plan to cement the carpet back down, test run the engine with some fresh gas, and if all goes well put her in the river :side: (Piscatqua, in Kittery, ME). Should have taken some pictures, but didn't. :(

Wish me luck
