TOPIC: Imperial boats

Does anyone know anything about Imperial boats?? I want to know if they were produced by Chrysler?? I desperately want to find a Chrysler project boat 18ft or bigger and there is an Imperial for sale near me. My family owned a Chrysler dealership when I was little and so my blood runs Chrysler red. I just recently caught boat fever, always had hot rods. Now its boats.

I don't think Chrysler had anything to do with Imperial boats. Imperial was an lower priced/lower level manufacturer out of Indiana. From what I have read their quality was quesionable.
