TOPIC: looking 4 info...Glastron carlson Challenger

Looking for info on a '72 Glastron carlson challengers.

websites or just plain good ole knowledge on these boats...

it looks to be 2.5 - 3 hrs away from me...i'm getting the urge to take a ride and go look....but....one problem is the short transom...

any info ? post or email it please.....

no such animal as a 72 Glastron Carlson Challenger . im pretty sure 1970 was the last year for them and in 1971 there was the CH16 similar to a Challenger .

MATT: We have had prior posts about these historic speedsters. Great appeal with the Merc 6 cyl tower. Not a all around family boat , more a sit down , shut up Hold on .!!

Yes hard to find a short Merc, but worth the effort. Again the Challenger is a longer 16 ft model , with the Contender 14 ft model .
Believe a Conrad (Iowa ?) has one , & a Dave Koleman (st Louis ) Power Cat collector also has one. Quite a few guys are searching for this model , if you have 1st preference, & it is a Low $$ price, I vote you should grab it . ASK if it had any prior Race History .? That would be icing on the Cake .!

to all been hunting for that "right" project boat and well still unsucessful...guess i'm not hunting hard enough...haha
