TOPIC: Custom made replacement for convertible top.

Hey everyone. I am buying a 1971 Fabuglas 154 Trident II. The convertible top that snaps to the windshield is in need of replacing. Any ideas on where I could find someone to make me a new one?

Welcome Matt. To the best of my knowledge there isn't anyone mass producing these style (navy) tops anymore. You may be able to find a local marine upholstery who can reproduce one for you. Not sure where your located, but the members here may be able to refer you to someone if you let us know where.

Look for an Awning company in or close to your area....Here we have Sugar House Awning, Salt lake City, Utah and you could call them and see if they would have any ideas to help you out 801-563-9600

They have been in business long enough they just might have a pattern.

Otherwise you might try looking at better Upholstery Shops in your area as well.

Also, Matt....if you have what is left of the top there is a guy here locally that does Custom Cars, Boats, Planes and you name it....I am sure you could call him and get an idea. he does awesome work but he isn't cheap either.
