TOPIC: Rare 1979 Taylor Stiletto Mod VP

Rare 1979 Taylor Stiletto Mod VP 9 years 2 months ago #116251

From what I have found Taylor (of California) only made 29 hulls between 1977-1979 and most were used as race boats.

All hand laid glass and not sure how many are still around.

I need to get back to work on the Taylor, I didn't like the Water Taxi Rear interior someone had put in it.

2 buckets in the front are fine but only 2 people on the rear bench or anymore and they had to stare at the person across from them.

Found a lot of holes needing to be patched from speakers and what not.

The plan is to move the rear bench forward and add a trunk between the back of the seat and teh splash well.

I remember the Stiletto. They ran low 80's with a late 70's 235hp J/E.
