TOPIC: First run of the season

Took the 75 Glastron v-179 Starflite out for the first run since bring her home from Mn. 3 weeks ago. 50 out yesterday morning, so a little chilly , but had the lake all to ourselves. Added seafoam to the fresh tank of gas , ran great 4800 rpm at 35 mph. I was pleased with that. ran for a hour ( finally got cold) . the interior cleaned up like new , now to wet sand ,compound , and polish. Very happy with my first Glastron. Named her "Marmalade" madbohunk safe boating

Jim , it has a Volvo aq130c with a 270 outdrive. Frog , got it in Windom, Mn 30 min. north of Worthington . 2 owner ,original bill of sale , file full of receipts since new ,original trailer and manuals. Mafbohunk safe boating

Ah, she looks good Bohunk! I had a '73 V-178, great boats IMHO. Should polish up nicely, it will make you a nice "cruiser".

looks clean! should make a great family boat. And, it didn't cost $40k to have a great time on the water!
