Just curious, when I'm logged into the site and go into a thread for a reply, my postings have a tag of "Away" on them. If I'm logged into the site, I'm obviously Not Away unless there's something I don't know about!!
I happened to click my profile, and it says "Online". So the site does recognize me being here. Just something that makes me go, "Hmmmmmmmmm..............." |

It all has to do with the multiverse. You may be currently displaced and in the wrong universe at this moment in time while the you that is supposed to be here would be away or offline at this time.

So that's the problem.
I thought it might have something to do with Quantum Mechanics, and I only know how to work on outboards, not Quantums!!! I feel like Schrödinger's Mercury right now. I may or may not be present or even alive, I'm scared to look. The good news is, my current status is "Online". Yay. |

Ed, I don't see anything in the "backend" that shows status as "Away". I'm wondering if it's your browser: I'd try a different one, maybe firefox or chrome. What browser are you using? You can also try clearing your browser's cache! Or take 2 asprins and say a prayer!!

Hey, I'm using Seamonkey, which can be kinda "wonky" sometimes. So maybe that's the explanation for the occasional weirdness. Funny, as I type this my status is "Online" and I haven't cleared out the cookies or anything!
Next time it takes me on another "Quantum Leap" I'll do some experimenting. Thanks! |

Cleared out the cookies/etc, still did it. "Online" until I post, then after posting "Away". Time to go to another browser!

OK, Brave browser with all the "guards" turned off shows me "Away" as soon as I log in. Now to try Firefox.
