TOPIC: i-phone pictures loading upside down

Now that I am trying to learn how to use an i-phone, it seems all of the pictures I post are upside down or sideways when viewed on a laptop... but look correct when viewed from an I-photo. I have even viewed other people's pictures that look correct when viewed with my phone, yet others are saying they are sideways and upside down...so I go to my laptop and sure enough they are crazy. I have taken pictures on my phone from 4 different rotated positions and it does not appear to solve this problem. I feel like I am making it a pain for people to view my pictures and don't want to keep upsetting people. In the meantime, maybe I will have to go back to using my separate digital camera. This issue is way over my head, so was hoping someone could drag me into the 21st century? (Just ignore the kicking and screaming lol). I just want to be helpful with pictures rather than be annoying. Thanks.

Try holding your iPhone phone sideways, with the volume buttons on the bottom left edge and take the pics.

Thanks - I thought I had done that and believed it still was happening. Maybe I will get brave and take some test pictures of the same thing with 3 different phone positions and try a phone upload and then go back and look on the computer. Sorry to those members that I made sick from some of my past posts.
