Hi, I'm looking at a 1968 17' Chris Craft with an OMC stern drive. They call it a "Transdrive" any Idea what that would be? It sits behind a 225 motor. Is this just a common stringer drive? If so, what is the difference between the HU 16C and the HUE 16C stern drives?

Thanks,

Todd

I don't think you will find any difference between an OMC and a CC drive.
The "E" stands for "extended" or high profile drive. OMC drives were available in 2 lengths. The high profile was about 4.5" taller and more common in the day.
