I tried to buy one in mid 70s but my parents wouldn't let it in the yard.

If you ever been to wisconsin dells there a ton of these running around do tours on the rivers in the area.

A ton in Seattle also. I think they are the modern version.

There's an outfit in Boston that does river tours with them. Not much freeboard when afloat...

They were featured driving through downtown Seattle during the Seahawks Superbowl celebration.

There is one of these in my neighborhood. Some dude that had more money than brains bought it thinking to use it for lake tours. Then was shocked when he found out how much money it would take to bring it up to specs. I have not seen it around in a while maybe its been sold.
