TOPIC: US Composites - Epoxies, Resins, Fiberglass

I have bought several products from www.uscomposites.com and would highly recommend them for epoxy, fiberglass, tape, etc.

I can second this. I shopped around for a while. I have received three separate shipments from them. Price is good and living in Texas, regular UPS gets my product to my door on the third day.

Good...I spoke to Steve last week and he helped me out alot. He didnt try to rush me off the phone and infact understood I was a hobby boat restorer (he is too) and told me what I wanted and even gave me tips and pointers. He said I can ask for him when im ready to order and he will help me some more. I spoke to him for 20 minites. His prices with shipping from Florida to California are alot cheaper then the place I get local here near San Diego. They are who Im going with, Mike

I've been buying my vinylester, gelcoat, fabric, mixing cups/sticks, pourable foam kits from these guys for several years, at least 6.
Their site used to be www.shopmaninc.com , still is there just checked!
Their price on 80lb foam kits has been great, me being a foamed bilge fan.

I have also bought from www.fiberglasssupply.com , www.fiberlay.com , and will try express who advertises here soon. That Styro Safe looks interesting.

I am also a loyal customer- I used to be a west systems user, but I actually like us composites epoxy as well or better, and the price can't be beat! They also have excellent customer service.

I'll jump on the bandwagon here as well. Being a rookie at 'glassing, they are more than helpful on the phone and don't shrug you off or try to rush you to move on to the next customer. I shopped all over the 'net for prices, and they have the best ones I could find. The shipping charges aren't all "jacked up" with extra handling fees, and the get your order out within 48 hrs! I explained that I would have to buy my supplies as I needed them due to budget restrictions, and they have no problem with that. Little orders are just as important as big orders to them it seems. First rate folks to deal with, IMHO.

US composite saved me 100's of dollars. $103 dollars for all the chemicals and instructions I need vs $545 at West marine w/ no clear guidance. GREAT company.
