TOPIC: Me First 7 1/2 HP Scot of 1957 Vintage

Me First 7 1/2 HP Scot of 1957 Vintage 10 years 4 months ago #96679

I intend to do it. It needs rubber replaced in carb and pump for newer gas and a couple impellers. I believe it was the first year for the square fiberglass hood. The pump impellers are going to be a little expensive. Last quote was about $50 a piece and I can get away with just one. The other is for bail-o-matic. I'd like to use this as a spare. 1957, At one time they gave Johnson and Mercury a run for their money. I had it running. Sounded good.

Cool little motors! Had one at one time. Still like the "art-deco" colors they came in too!
