TOPIC: Pennsy bound........

headin up to pa. for the weekend. have to do some maintenance on the house, mainly repair a split in a copper elbow just behind the tub/shower faucet. i cut thru the closet last weekend to find the leak. my bro-in-law tried to solder in a new elbow but the solder just rolled off, wouldn't stick. the pipes are dry. he thinks his flux was contaminated. since i don't solder i'm going to lay some jb weld over the split and see if that works. i was told it would..we'll see. hope ya'll have a nice weekend. ron

ron ,you should stick around a day or so,we are going to be camping near wellsboro.pa we will arrive on monday,i think its not too far from you.

John, you may want to take a look at "Gasland" a documentary about fracing that has been going on in your area. I just watched it and my jaw is on the floor.

i cant see the video,but there are regular gas wells all around me,the closest is about 500 yards away,they have been doing this as long as i can remember,but the deep wells you are probably talking about,are starting to come into our area.
a texas company bought the farm about 3 miles from me and are going to be doing these type of wells,but there is some political fuss about it,we will see what happens,john

john, i would keep a close eye on your spring water. the SOB's are polluting wells all over. ron
