Thought maybe some of you might like this. We are just finishing up a build that started last January. The owner came to us and said he had a custom built chassis to build a street legal asphalt mod as a tribute to Maynard Troyer. But he wanted working doors and everything to make it dot legal and that it had to be turn key reliable every day driver.
Humm scratching our heads we went to work and this is the result.
GM, LS with a large cam for that lump lump sound of a race car along with a few other mods now puts out over 600hp mated to a 6spd stick to a custom built 9' Ford rear. It is scary fast. The body is a Pinto widened 10"s with a stock Firebird tail light panel. The other sheet metal is standard Modified tin that took a lot of work to make straight n flat,
Again I thought maybe you might enjoy so here it is.

Now that's a cool Hot Rod!!! Looks very clean and professional, and very fast!!!! I cannot imagine what someone's reaction would be when that thing blows by them on a twisty street, but I'd Love to witness it!!!! Great job on the build!!!!

Professional and detailed. Lots of pride in workmanship right there (as well as engineering know-how). Thank you for sharing. I am always amazed at how much talent shows up on this site! I would love to live in the town with that running the streets. Great job!

This is what we had to work with as a basic plan for the car, its a match box of the orig race car. Look close on top of the tire.
