Working on my tilt tube and need a special wrench to turn out the seal ring. What is it called??

I think it is a spanner wrench. I need one to open up the bottom of my 1948 Merc KE-7 project. Let me know if you find one, otherwise my mechanic buddy should be getting access to one for me sometime this week. I can probably get my hands on it for you.

We tried using snap ring plyers and they weren't strong enough

Went to Kimps, said it was a specialty spanner. I managed without it, just took longer.
