TOPIC: The Other Project

So The admiral has wanted a new stool since her other pot metal one broke and couldn't be welded, so of course I say I can make a wood one for ya. Like I didn't have enough going on! Well anyway I thought I had taken more pictures but couldn't find them all so this is all I have.

I tried steam bending some 9" long thin pieces but it didn't work so well so I made the round frame from an 8 sided ring and band sawed/sanded it round. I used sliding dovetails in the legs and the apron pieces.

Not my best work but she's happy and I can get back to the Century. probably should have made the apron pieces out of one continuous piece but had to use what I had on hand so I could get it done.







Now back to the boat!

Thanks, yes it does, it actually auditioned for Beauty and the Beast but wasn't picked up so I put it to work for the Admiral! LOL
