Well as a few of you already know my 2008 GMC truck got totaled but I'm fine. I got a new one, not a GMC this time though. The Dodge guys gave me a deal I couldn't refuse. Nothing real special, 2015 Dodge Ram Tradesman with the 3.7 V-6 but 3.55 gear so it will pull 7200lbs if needed and still get good gas mileage. Didn't get the Hemi as much as I wanted it I didn't want the 14mpg gas mileage!

These were taken at the Popeye's by the dealer, I was starving by the time we were done. also put the tonneau cover on from the old truck, fit fine and looks good too. I'll have to take a pic of it once the snow stops. ;)

Thanks guys!

Greg, yeah I was the same way but GM pulled the family discounts from under my father-in-law, along with his health care. He was with Cadillac for over 30 years and he got screwed. I can't get the discount anymore and Dodge gave me a price I couldn't refuse.

I was always a Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth guy until my wife and I got married.

Great tow vehicle John!!!!!!!!!!

Bob, as always I'm late to the party. Didn't know about your accident either. Now for the present you have to develop that deep low voice and say "Guys, Glory, Ram" Nice choice.

Nice truck Bob. I've been visiting some dealers lately. My 86 Bronco with 170,000 miles is beginning to have some trans or torque converter problems. (Of course it is, fishing season is here) I'm suffering from sticker shock. I was looking at 2015 Ford 4 X 4 Pickups. The dealer found one that's close to my wish list, except it's a crew cab not an extended cab. $44,000.00!! I love the 4 X 4 option but thinking I may have to go with a 2 wheel drive. I get nervous when I'm looking at a pickup truck that costs as much as my house did. I like the Dodges. May have to visit the Dodge dealer.

For now, I'm just glad I have AAA with 100 mile free towing for truck and boat. My 2 primary lakes are just under 100 miles from home.

Enjoy that new ride.

Yeah the prices are ridiculous!!!!!! I was able to get this one for $21.5 before taxes and tags, so I was happy. Checked the gas mileage computer and it says I'm averaging 22.3 just driving it to work. Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!

So I decided the stock rims suck so I Plasti-dip'd them. What do you think? Cheap way to get new rims. ;)

Thanks Jim.

Ron, it's a spray on plastic like paint that once dry can be spray cleaned and if you don't like it you can just peel it off! There's a site called plasticar.com and they have all kinds of colors, even pearl. the forum shows what everyone has done with it. Lowe's carries it and it only costs about $6 a can. It comes in Black, White, Flourescent Green and Brite Pink, but there's other colors. Some people paint there whole cars with it. quite a few paint rims, and badges/emblems. I thought about spraying my door emblems too but I like the Bling on the doors so I may just leave it alone. You can paint it over chrome rims that are starting to pit, saves buying new ones.

I've been thinking on doing my truck rims the same way Bob, only using satin black rustoleum. I'll have to check this stuff out, seems like a natural application! ;)
