Here in La Crosse they are talking a low tomorrow night of about -20 and a high on Wed. of about -5. That is without wind chill. Maybe about 5" of snow tonight to top it off. That should make it a little more interesting with the breezy conditions that will be included.
On Christmas the Mississippi was pretty much ice free. Now it is froze up pretty tight and the cold weather is just getting here. It looks like we will have plenty of ice for our annual " Fire on the Ice " party in 3 weeks.
