Kids, I saw it as it happened the tube west coast. That day I was up early to do some pre market open trading. Saw the first "news", and watched it all day..."in shock". Hate to say it, but that was the "day the world sit still", and never that great would before? Never again happen. Sad day...

Robby, I saw it as it happened also. I was in my office in Combat on the USS Enterprise, we had just turned over operations to the USS Carl Vinson and was heading home via an around the horn trip around South Africa. Turned around instantly before being to told to and was on station next to the Carl Vinson waiting for the word to schwack-em !!!! A day I'll never forget. Boy you want to talk about a bunch of pissed-off sailors in two battle groups!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Robert I was at the VA and we saw the second plane hit the building on live feed. We then new that the first was no accident. A grizzeled old vet said: "Guys, I thinks we should get out of this government building"!

Wow. One of those times you'll never forget where you were.
