TOPIC: Vintage timing guage

As my recent posts might indicate, I am rechecking everything in search of why I can not time this motor (I have done so very successfully in the past).

Does anyone have one of the old style, thread in, timing gauges? I'd like to use one as a validation of where I have my .222 BTDC and TDC marked.

I'll rent it from you. Pay you 20 bucks (plus shipping), use it, then ship it back to you. Keep the twenty. A home run is a .222 AND a .015 guage

I've used a dial gauge and suspect I am right, but......

Personally, I hate those things. A good dial indicator is much better in my opinion and is easy to use.
