TOPIC: Is this wiring correct ???

Is this wiring correct ??? 10 years 3 months ago #98710

Hi Merc guru's need some help identifying if the black wire is indeed attached to the (I) (ignition)terminal of the switch with a jumper to the choke button??

As I'm wiring a newer switch old one is toast! And I'm not getting spark now! I've left the black wire unattached to any of the new switch terminals is this one of many reasons to cause no spark ??

Thanks in advance!!
Dave
