So I am trying to aquire this stand. I'm curious on the value of the item time period and any other information I can find.

I think they were aftermarket stands.

I bought a Evinrude made by the same CO cleaned up and an attempt of painting it (no primer and the paint was coming off) for $35

A little too much then guy wants $50 seemed good enough but it won't hold an I-6 and is not a true mercury stand thanks for your help!!

I dunno, not a bad little stand. See if you can get it for less, you can mount your fishing kicker on it.

It's about an hour drive so it makes me less inclined to go for it. It would work great for the kickers I fix/flip. I might just fork out the cash for the materials to make a proper stand. It would cost a case a beer in welding labor!
