If I get a decent offer I might sell it .. But not giving it away !!! Have no idea ??? don't have photos yet. Have control and the original cables in the original boxes !!!!

Was our connection really slow? That's happened to me in the past, connection was very slow and I hit post a couple of times thinking it didn't go through and by the time it should up it reflected every time I hit post. Just a thought.

Pictures would help, and if it is a short shaft that helps the value. If it is a clean runner that does not need a ton of work as most of them do, then I would say $400 for a long shaft and $500 for a shortie. Not a rare motor by any means and heavy as Hell, but one of my favorites, I have four of them.

Might post where you are, if it's in Idaho, even if I'm interested, & I'm in Florida, probably not likely, there's just too many decent 4cyl Merc 650's around. Although short shafts are much less often.

Location is everything, just like real estate. Where I am there are not many in decent shape, so they command a premium. But than again it is only the ones "in the know" who would even consider buying an engine that old to use. Most folks just consider them as scrap because of the age, lucky for us who know better!

Long shaft, correct?

Post it for sale in the glassifeds, and pix would still be helpful.
