Randy, read what Jim wrote. If you need parts I have "some" stuff for those early mercruisers. Stuff came in dealer buy outs years ago. Not sure what all I have but I do have the electronic catalog & if you come up with a serial # I can see what I have. There is also some used out drive parts for those . Also have some NOS engine
parts for those old Renault engines they used in those.

Hi Tim,
Thanks that's good to know. Sounds like at somepoint it would be best to swap out motor and drive from a late junk 4 cyl I/O but probably could keep this one alive with care and a few parts. Short term most concerned about points and impellor availability and if the cam is belt driven. I thought this maybe a Chevy II 4 cyl but if it's a Renault then wow parts will be real scarce with little network to source. Long term it's everything that would be problematic. I'll get S/N first to help reference what you might have.
