TOPIC: 58 Bottom Cowl inside color??

I'm trying to find out what color I'm supposed to paint the inside of the bottom cowl assembly on my Mark 58. Also what type of paint should I use?
Once all the grease was cleaned out and all the overspray from others repainting the thing I came down to a brassy looking color that even acetone wouldn't budge - man that is good paint.

Can I just paint it the same as I'm going to paint the outside?

Looks like you have been busy since your visit south.
I believe that the inside of the pans were all painted the same as the exterior. That is what I have found on all of mine anyway.

It's even easier than painting the same color as the inside is generally just overspray from exterior color rather than a good even paint job. Also I would not paint the gasket surfaces better to seal to the metal faces rather than a layer of paint.
