TOPIC: Tis the season

Here in the mid-Atlantic our season is a tad longer. Had the boat out today on a perfect early fall day. Given it was Monday and the off-season at times I was literally the only boat on the river.







The Merc ran pretty good! And that PTT reallllly makes a difference. I think the motor is mounted to high, and I've other performance issues/opportunities, but too beat to write about it tonight.....

What a gorgeous boat Peter. Is that a Thompson?

I see a lot of photos on here, but wow, that boat really stands out as stunning!

Thanks guys! She's a fun boat, and looks great in pics, but she has her needs. Doesn't look like it in the pics but it really could use a hull strip & repaint. And that's just for starters.

She's a 1961 Thompson Custom Sea Lancer with of course that '63 merc.
