I installed a new impeller. Fired it up and it ran pretty good but got hot. I pulled the bottom end and rechecked my work. Sure enough I used the wrong top gasket in the impeller case. Corrected that, re-installed, (I'm getting pretty good at that) and she fired up and ran cool as a cucumber. Too bad my crumbly old wiring harness failed again and fried some wires. I can start it with a remote starter button or with the pull starter but I'll have to scrounge up a better external harness. I think it's time for a test run at the lake. If she doesn't sink or blow up, I may just spend a few more bucks on her. I'll try to link a video on photobucket but not sure I know how...
