finaly finished 2 small mercs to keep my mark 55 company.needed something to run on my 12' 57 starcraft speedster.super 10 hurricane&mark20,gotta love those green mercs

awesome...they made want a can of sprite or 7up soda lol

That Mark 20 brings back lots of memories. I had a Mark 7 (1949?)


Mine was direct drive (No neutral or reverse) every time I left the dock all the old river rats would make bets on me starting it on the first pull. Most of the time It would, but then hang on, and pray its pointed in the right direction.

I gave it to my father-in-law to use on his boat. He used it for just a short while, when someone spotted it and made an offer he couldn't refuse on it.

All total I had about $25.00 in it and used it for several years. I was happy to get the $50.00 from him. That was a lot of money in 1987.

Oh, by the way he got to keep $75.00. Not bad for an old Merc.
