Hi all i am new to these forums i have the 71 115hp mercury outboard every parts company has this cap listed as na or obsolete whay cant i find one or do i have to replace the ebtire distributor assembley???????? im pulling my hair out over this one....... thx for any help 500 on ebay is scaring me

Think I have maybe 2 dozen of those . No need to replace the whole distributor, unless is has no spark. Rarely any need to replace the cap. unless it's damaged.
