Just bought a boat that has what appears to be a good motor (turns over) but it's missing a fuel line and the outboard seems to use a special fitting. Does anybody know where I can get one or how to bypass this? I can post pics if it helps.

I've sailed with inboard Yanmars but this outboard/classic boat thing is brand new to me.

Welcome Zoolander. I'm pretty sure I have an extra Merc fitting like you need out in the garage. It's too hot to go look right now, but I'll be out there early in the morning so I'd be glad to look for it then. As I recall, it's one of the cheaper, plastic versions, but it should still do the trick. If I can find it you can have it for $5 plus shipping, sound fair?
