This is yer NO BOGGIN video clip of the day. OK? NO BOGGIN on the hole shot! 15 foot 1970 Boston Whaler with a mid 80's Merc 115. Why? Because? Is it a jack rabbit and nuts to drive? Yes.
I have an 18P stainless on it right now but I think the guy should come down to a 17P.

no tach in the boat and I do not have anything portable. 5500 easily maybe a bit over. This boat is way overpowered. You can't even think of trimming the motor just leave it all the way down. If you try to trim it out the bow will come up over your head. I need to toss it on the lake one more time I will try and get some better video of it.
