TOPIC: 1964 merc 50hp

hi i took a 75hp evinrude off boat want to put the 50 merc on. the evinrude has a electric box that wires from battery goes to, which has relay and other plugs with wires going to dash and ignition .the merc has two wires and plug going to motor ,does the two wires hook direct to battery or do i need another box for the merc if not how do i hook up my lights thanks for any help john gordon

merc wiring harness red to positive black to negative. cobra plug plugs into motor done simple.
