I use freeware called Gimp to downsize pics for the web. It's a very powerful program - I mostly just use the scale feature, takes my pics from 3648 X 2736 and 1-2 mb to 800 X 600 and anywhere from 100-300 kb, a good size for web stuff and makes email go faster. Once you get the commands down, it's real quick to do one or a bunch of photos. Any questions, lemme know.
