I have just refinished a 1958 Mark 58 and had to pull off the emblem or medallion to repaint and polish the cowel front cover. It took heat to get it off but come off with no damage. So my question to you all resorters how and what do I use to reattach the emblum?

Ive used both shoo goo and silicone with equally good results
the silicone is easier to remove later
