TOPIC: Jack plate mounted

Jack plate mounted 12 years 7 months ago #55997

This is where I just got to. Not sure it's right, or the way it's gonna end up, but I'm getting closer. I need to build my electric stuff next, at least get ready to wire it.

Still have work to do on the trailer before I can get the boat back on it and figure out where to mount the jack plate on the transom. Also am going to have six 3/8 holes in the transom to fill and maybe 6 or 8 new ones.

Thanks, I think it will be fun. Right now I'm getting ready to wire it up with a couple solenoids I bought, one for up, one for down. They mount differently, but are the same electrical configuration as the solenoids that make my power trim come in and out. Hopefully it will work! Need some more terminal ends today and get at it tonight maybe.
