TOPIC: 50 H.P.. PROP info NEEDed.

GUYS,, recently acquired a 1973 50 hp - 4 cyl shorty shaft in a boat deal.. It is missing a Propeller, & my other 65 hp stuff is
slightly bigger for the prop shaft..
... Seems like I need a 13 spline & shaft is 7/8 " Dia .(?)
What are some of the Part #'s that would fit , in case someting pops up on E-bay. . I would like to use on a 13 1/2 foot rig , so
what is the highest PITCH that could be found for reasonable $$..

Not even sure if it takes a TWO blade or THREE blade.? .Anyone with one for sale or TRADE, please reply ,, I have a few OMC / Gale nice props in the 40 hp mid size if ppossible swap..

50hp used the same 13-spline shafts from about 1972 on up to the 1990s. Before that was an 11-spline shaft, smaller diameter.

Should be able to look up part numbers at mercruiserparts.com...

they are available from 13in to 19in cupped give me a size and i will give you a ######.
they fit merc 35 thru 70 13 spline and merc 400/402/500/merc650&700{3cyl}

Sent you a PM on this, did you receive? I have a new-old-stock Merc propeller still in the box, Merc #48-56234-A411 It's a 2-blade aluminum cupped prop, 11" x 13 pitch. $50 + shipping.

K.M. : YES, Just sittin down now to go thru mail replies.. I believe
the 13 " pitch is going to be a tad small , for what I was hoping to use... I always hit the Sat am Flea Mkt & I did score a N.O.S. black prop , excellent price 13 spline, BUT it is a tad big for the 50 hp,,,, So will need to trade or sell that one.
