The entire wrap gets painted white first, then fine line tape is used where you want the white to be, then paint the balance black, then clear coat. Darrel that is really sweet. I restored a 60 300 which I thought was pretty good but oh dear...yours looks brand new.

I want to know all your secrets besides the wrap painting. Can we see a before picture? I have to assume it was in pretty decent condition to start? Like the emblem on the front plate, the chrome all around and even the shock bolts etc all look new.

How much did you actually have to replace?

I know that you might want to protect your trade secrets but I think it would be great to learn from an expert like yourself.

That is, indeed a 1960. I have two of them, one restored the other original. Sweet engine but watch the cylinder bores. Make sure you measure them carefully and don't build the engine with more than .005" out of round without boring and oversize pistons installed. Any more than that and the engine will have idle issues in the best case scenario and broken piston skirts in the worst. Other than that very straightforward to build and run.
