They took it off of the boat and layed it on top of the controls in a little trailer and them brought it into town, about 7 miles he said. Well, the wrap WAS perfect.(&%@)&%) He knocked $75 off of the price. It is a shorty.
Compression is 1-125, 2-140, 3-140, 4-145, 5- 135, 6-130.
Looks to be the candidate for the Kober Kat.

If you had twins Id say put two 850's on the Kober. Otherwise stick the 1350 on it with solid mounts and good steering and have some fun. You can always pull the throttle back. It does not have to be floored.
I run my Carlson at 60 mph comfortable. I dont run 75 mph all the time.

Good find, is that a 90 cubic inch block then?

It is the Tiger block. 90 right?
Same bore and stroke as the 63 1000. So here is a question.
Is the difference between the 63 850 and the 63 1000 carbs only.
If so I have a set of 63 carbs off of a parts 1000. Could I bolt them on and have a 1000? Is there any difference in the reed cages.

I think Thom has explained this before at one point. Im not sure, id have to do some searching. But I think the exhaust plate may have to be changed out too. Possible reed cage change also.
Yep Tiger means 90 most of the time with the one exception being the 93 cube 1100.

The Merc 1000 carbs will bolt right up to the 850. The revised exhaust baffle plate does make some difference but isn't mandatory, you're still gonna get a quite noticeable improvement in midrange to topend performance with the bigger carbs. If ya wanna economy special, keep the smaller carbs, elsewise if you wants to go faster, bolt up the Big Bores!
