Calling out to the Merc Gods!
I have a '64 100hp....in not so great looking shape...
I want to try and do some testing on it before I pull powerhead.
Is there a way to jump start this motor or is that a no-no
the timing belt is broke too, so wondering if any testing can actually be done?

My 2 control boxes I have won't plug into this unit...but will on my '66 65hp

you can check comperssion by direct 12v to the starter or pull starter.

You simply turn the distributor by hand to check for spark.
12 volts applied in the proper place of course.
